Here are the best Hungarian music videos from 2025

Hip-hop acts dominate the top spots.

Beton.Hofi won four categories and Pogány Induló won three at this year’s Hungarian Music Video Awards, which were held on November 7 at the Akvárium Klub in Budapest.

This year’s grand prize, i.e. the best video clip category, was shared by Pogány Induló’s song Egy/Kettő (One/Two) (director  Balázs Büki) and Co Lee’s song A Dzsungel könyve (Book of Jungle – director Róbert Székely).

Beton.Hofi’s music video for Be vagyok zárva (I’m Locked In) won in the best director category, directed by Barni Kelemen.

Beton.Hofi, Pogány Induló, and Co Lee are all well-known and popular Hungarian hip-hop artists.

Beton.Hofi’s song with Anubii$, Pont jó (Just fine), won the award for best AI video, while the video for Beton.Hofi’s song Angyalok (Angels) won the award for best styling/costumes, and Pokol (Hell) won the award for best mobile video. Pogány Induló’s Egy/Kettő won the grand prize as well as the award for best cinematography, while the audience award went to Máklikőré for his work Hűtlen tangó (Unfaithful tango).

The Hungarian Music Video Awards, the country’s music video festival, was first held in 2015. Since then, out of more than 6,600 entries, nearly 250 works have been recognized by a professional jury whose composition changes annually. This year, more than ever before, 150 clips were entered into the competition program, with a total of 54 winners announced in 26 categories.
