Being a catholic country Hungary celebrates All Saints’ Day on 1 November.
This is a national holiday, all the shops and banks are closed this day.
In the evening traditionally the families go to cemeteries to place flowers on the graves of their dead relatives and friends.(Officially 2 November is the Day of the Dead, but generally people mix up these two days.)
Candles are also lit on the graves to commemorate the dead so the cemeteries not only packed with visitors but also look beautiful and scary at the same time.
I took these photos last year in the cemetery of my hometown.
