Liverpool supporters have voted Dominik Szoboszlai’s free-kick against Arsenal as the club’s “Goal of the Season.”
The Hungarian national team captain scored the stunning strike from approximately 30 meters out at Anfield back in August, during the third matchday of the season. The goal secured a 1-0 victory for the Reds against the eventual champions, the Gunners.
Szoboszlai had a total of eight goals in contention for the award, and he also secured second place with his free-kick scored against Manchester City.
According to the club’s official website, the third-highest number of votes went to Rio Ngumoha for his goal against Newcastle United.

Dominik Szoboszlai had previously already been named Liverpool’s Player of the Season.
